Daniel, Jeremias, Sailesh:

The three of us, with the help of our TA James, decided to make the chassis ourselves. This is because we couldn't find what we needed to online (even on James' suggested Banggood.com (SFW)). As such, we drew a diagram of our car and its fundamental parts and we essentially needed 2 8x8 plywood squares with walls and wheels as our chassis (photo coming soon).

With the Chassis figured out we can figure out the wheels and gears and bucket we can use.

Daniel:

Created the PRD and populated the budget list with specific products and included some shipping costs and times

The overall new robot will be an 8x8x2 inch box with wheels and a scooper.

Jeremias:

bought the plywood from HomeDepot as a large 2x4 rectangle (smallest size). We will be cutting it up for what we need.

Sailesh:

got a partial sponsorship from KYOOKE as a 10% discount (Too bad we won't them up on it)

Wisely consulted our initial proposed budget and we are now taking a different path

Ordered wheels

The UV sensor was determined to not be viable

Shout out to James, this week's MVE.

Next week:

Build robot, since we have the wood and arduino. This involves cutting the wood and drilling holes and nailing everything together.

We will wait for the camera to come in before we can test with that (should start mid-next week latest).

We will also look through potential source code and libraries we can use.

TL;DR

Redrew design, ordered parts, TY James

Will build next week

Also, Sailesh is treasurer now
